Compare against ANY sound level meter in the world!!! (at ANY price!)
This is a super high sound pressure microphone, all it needs is
very loud sounds and an ordinary digital millivolt multimeter to
work, you can also connect it directly to an oscillscope or
spectrum analyzer or computer. Comes with calibration chart , millivolt
decibel table and owners manual and certificate, and Computer Software C.D. #1 and an
audio test C.D.
Sound pressure level | 96 to 200+ decibel or 0.000183 P.S.I. to 30 P.S.I.+ with multimeter 50 to 186+ or 0.0000009 to 30 P.S.I+. with computer = SuperLoud reference standard 20 microPascals = 0 decibel |
Frequency range | 1(one) to 20,000 hertz, Calibrated at 2(two) to 700hertz = SuperBass slight resonance at 3khz |

Repeatability | +-0.1 db @175 db or with less than 0.40% hysteresis with multimeter, less than 0.13% hysteresis with charge amplifier |
Accuracy | essentially flat+-0.04db = SuperAccurate, N.I.S.T. CALIBRATED with certificate., slight resonance at 3khz |
Sound pressure level | +-0.04db or less with a voltage or charge amplifier +-0.1 db with typical multimeter, computer or oscilloscope |
Frequency Amplitude | linear zero flat, below measurable multimeter limits (less than 1 hz to 700 hz.) = SuperFlat Responce with a slight resonance at 3000hz |
With Computer and Software #2 | 50 decibels to 186 + db(5 volt input limit on most computer sound cards) = SuperWideRange |
Voltage Output | 1 millivolt output @ 90.0 db input = 1.000 Volt @ 150.0 db = 10 Volts output @ 170.0 db input = 1.5849 mV/Pa = -56.0 db ref. 1Volt/Pa = 5000mV/PSI SuperOutput |
